Cottonwood County Auditor/Treasurer Cottonwood County is seeking to fill the position of Auditor/ Treasurer. At this time the County Board is unsure if this position will continue to be elected (meaning the applicant would fulfill the remainder of the elected term, which would end on December 31, 2026) or if it will become an appointed position. Reasonable qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business ad- ministration or related field and six years of recent financial business experience, including three of the most recent as a senior supervisor involving accounting practices, procedures and office management or combination of education and experience. A major or concentration in accounting or a CPA designation is preferred. Possession of a valid State of Minnesota driver's license is required. If the position becomes appointed, the minimum salary for this posi- tion would be $83,220.80.
