Deputy County Recorder Cottonwood County is currently accepting applications for a full-time Deputy County Recorder. This position, under limited supervision, will be responsible for issuing driver's licenses and all vital records as well as providing technical support to the County Recorder by receiving, recording and filing deeds and other related documents. Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent AND two years of staff support experience or any equivalent combination of qualifying educa- tion and experience. Customer service and word processing skills are required. Experience in legal descriptions would be a plus but the right candidate will receive training. Possession of a valid State of Minnesota driver's license. Must pass a BCA background check. The 2025 salary range for this position is $23.06 - $31.22/hr. County benefits include 8 hours of sick leave/month, accrued vacation, 16 hours of personal leave, 11 paid holidays, health insurance, $20,000 life insurance policy, Public Employee Retirement (PERA), and a monthly VEBA/HSA contribution.
