FULL-TIME Building and Grounds Worker Cottonwood County is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Building and Grounds Worker. This position, under general supervision of the Building Operations Manager, will perform general building and grounds maintenance and repair of county buildings to include the Courthouse, DVHHS facilities, 10th Street Office building, N. 71 buildings and transit garage. Minimum requirements for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in building and grounds maintenance and repair or any equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Applicant must possess a valid State of Minnesota driver's license and will be required to obtain a Special boiler's license within 6 months of employment. Current salary range for this position is $23.29 - $31.29/hour dependent upon qualifications. County benefits include: Vacation, ESST leave, personal time, 11 paid holidays, health insurance, $20,000 life insurance policy, Public Employee Retirement (PERA), $30/month cell phone allowance and a monthly VEBA/HSA contribution.
