Cottonwood County FSA Office The Cottonwood County Farm Service Agency (FSA) Office in Windom, MN has an opening for a permanent/full-time Program Technician. Program Technician is responsible for carrying out office activities, functions and administration of one or more farm bill program areas administered by USDA-FSA. Must be able to interpret and explain procedure, program rules and regulations to producers, other agency personnel, and the general public. Must possess excellent mathematical, critical thinking, organizational and accounting skills. Must possess and be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication abilities. Position requires a high degree of initiative and judgment in planning and carrying out assigned tasks and resolving problems encountered. Background in the operations of a farm or ranch and knowledge of FSA farm programs and practices is preferred Starting pay ranges from $29,847 to $53,773, depending on the qualifications of the applicant.
