Cottonwood County Emergency Management is the focal point for overall coordination for all disasters occurring in or affecting Cottonwood County, Minnesota. Emergency Management focuses on planning, training, conducting drills, testing equipment, coordinating activities with our Emergency Responders, and community education.

The Cottonwood County Emergency Management office is responsible for developing and maintaining the county emergency plan. It advises county officials on courses of action to be taken during an emergency. It coordinates the use of resources in response to emergency situations, and maintains communications with other emergency response personnel in regard to emergency problems and issues.
