HELP WANTED Finance & Information Analyst The City of Windom is accepting applications for the position of Finance & Information Analyst. This position requires a high level of expertise and contributes to the efficient operation of the city by managing a diverse range of responsibilities. Duties will include comprehensive support to the City Administrator and Finance Director/Controller, technical support for city departments, preparation of agenda materials for all City Council meetings, administration of projects, benefit administration and payroll support, grant writing, city licensing and permitting, and variety of reporting. Coordination of elections, certifying and tracking city special assessments, and coordination and completion of the city annexation process. Additional duties will include general reception and back-up customer service. Three years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal finance position or equal private sector position is desired. Minimum qualifications include a degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field from an accredited college, bachelor's degree preferred. Comparable experience may be substituted for the minimum educational or work requirements at the option of the Personnel Committee and City Council. Salary range is $25.71 to $33.13. Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
