WORK & LEARN COORDINATOR The Work and Learn Coordinator will implement career readiness opportunities within the Jackson, Windom and Worthington school districts. Qualifications: Post-Secondary degree in Business or a related field; Knowledge of Secondary Career and Technical Education and Work Based Learning; Ability to travel throughout the region; Independent worker; Proven ability to establish and maintain organizational relationships; Ability to negotiate agreements and student opportunities; Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability; Excellent oral and written communications; Experience with program development and implementation; Bilingual language skills desired; Preferred but not required: Standard Minnesota Teaching Licensure for grades 9-12. Responsibilities: Develop partnerships and serve as a liaison between schools and the business community for career exploration, job shadowing, internships, and/or work experiences; Market and promote the program; Engage with students, both in the classroom and individually to build employability skills and facilitate career exploration and career advising activities; Manage a database of all business partners and volunteers that participate in the work experience program.
