Registered Nurse (RN) Windom Area Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (.8 FTE), who will provide patient care to our inpatient. OB, and ER departments. Experience preferred, but will train qualified applicants. Position includes working 12-hour shifts every third weekend and holiday, as well as 8-hour weekday rotating shifts. Qualified candidates will be credentialed as an RHIT or CCS, or achieve designation within 6 months. Candidates must have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy. physiology. ICD-10- CM/PCS, various medical specialties and familiarity with working on claim denials. The position is responsible for managing and coding a variety of outpatient and inpatient records using ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding systems, obtaining admission certification from third party payers for inpatient admissions, conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis, and computing statistical reports.
