This position will ensure compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients. Assists in formulating the budget and maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while required compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations laws, standards, and protocols. A member of the Senior Executive Team, the DON is responsible for advising senior management on best practices in nursing and patient care, work with healthcare leaders to establish compensation and benefit programs, and are involved in the recruitment, training and retention of clinical staff.
