2020 was a year that we will never forget ... What is in store for agriculture in 2021? We began 2020 with optimism with Phase I of the trade deal with China. Then COVID-19 hit and turned the world upside down. Fortunately, we were blessed with a great growing season in SWMN, with many field and overall record farm corn and soybean yields. Corn and soybean prices increased significantly since August 2020 to the highest levels since 2013/2014. Several Farm Program payments have helped improve the bottom line immensely.
