HELP WANTED Finance Director/Controller The City of Windom is accepting applications for the position of Finance Director/Controller. This position is responsible for managing and administration of all finance and accounting functions including risk management, supervision of City Hall Staff, oversight of AP/AR and coordination of employee benefit plans. Knowledge of standard computer operation and software and ability to learn and operate accounting/finance software used by the City are required. Three years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal finance position or equal private sector position is desired. Supervisory experience preferred. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or closely-related field from an accredited college with a preference for master's degree or CPA. Comparable experience may be substituted for the minimum educational or work requirements at the option of the Personnel Committee and City Council. Salary range is $88,400 to $110,510. Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
