The 2020 Master Plan estimates 9,770 annual operations in 2022 (IFR + VFR), and FAA data shows there have been 290 IFR (instrument) operations January - October 2022. These activities support local businesses, medical flights and general aviation. Improvements and maintenance projects are generally funded by the FAA, State of Minnesota and a small local match.
