CITY OF WINDOM SNOW EMERGENCY PROCEDURES A Snow Emergency will be issued by the City of Windom when heavy snow or high winds are present. Vehicles left in the City of Windom public parking lots, streets, and alleys will be ticketed and may be towed beginning at 12:01 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (noon) that same day. Snow removal will begin sometime after 1:00 a.m. When the City declares a snow emergency, vehicles must remain off City parking lots,streets and alleys until 12:00 p.m. or until they are completely plowed of snow. Once completely plowed, you may park back on your street.
