Citywide Cleanup PLACE ITEMS AT THE CURB IN SEPARATE PILES BY 6:00 A.M., SATURDAY, SEPT. 19. DO NOT PLACE ITEMS IN ALLEY! SATURDAY, SEPT. 19, ONLY! UNACCEPTABLE MATERIALS INCLUDE: HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE Building Materials Paints Auto Bodies Appliances & Electronics THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE ALLOWED FOR PICKUP: Household Goods Furniture Hazardous Waste Liquid Waste Used Oil Concrete Lead Acid Batteries Fluorescent Tubes Tires Other items too bulky to be placed in a garbage bag. MATTRESS & CAR SEAT RECYCLING is Thursday & Friday, Sept. 17 & 18, offered at a discounted fee of $8.00 with maximum of 4 tags (additional tags $13 each) for mattress or box spring! If you have either of these for pickup during the cleanup event, you must purchase a tag for $8.00 from City Hall by Tuesday, Sept. 15. Please keep items dry, stand mattresses on side and place on the curb before 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, for pickup. Car seat recycling is free! Mattresses and box springs without tags will NOT be picked up. *APPLIANCES & ELECTRONICS RECYCLING- (FOR THE ENTIRE CITY) Appliances and electronics can be picked up for an additional charge. Tags to pick up these items must be purchased at City Hall or online by Tuesday, Sept. is for curb side pickup on or before Saturday. Sept. 19. The cost to recycle these items is: $15 for household appliances. S15 for TVs, monitors with limit of 4 tags. ($30 for additional tags) $15 for small electronics, no tag limits. No refunds for tags will be given! Appliances include: Refrigerators, stoves/ovens, washers, dryers, microwaves, water heaters, freezers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, dishwashers, water softeners, window air conditioners, Small electronics include: Printers, copiers, laptop and desktop computers (does not include monitors), scanners and stereos. NO LEAVES, TREES, DIRT OR GRASS CLIPPINGS will be picked up during this clean up. Leaves and grass clippings can be taken to the Compost Site location which is open 24-hours a day. Trees, branches, brush, etc. (no grass clippings) can be taken to the landfill weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the first and third Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. NEW THIS YEAR!
