HELP WANTED Windom Water/Wastewater Department Full-Time Position Wastewater Foreman-This position will be responsible for supervising the operation, inspection, testing, monitoring, maintenance and compliance of the wastewater facilities and the supervision of wastewater operators. Considerable knowledge of wastewater practices and operations is essential. The 2020 salary range for this position is $19.79 to $25.10 per hour plus license incentives and benefit package. Minimum qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class B or higher Minnesota commercial driver's license. Ability to lift 75 pounds Candidate should have two or more years work experience with the operation of a water/wastewater facility. Certified or eligible to be certified as a Class B Wastewater Supply System Operator with the ability to obtain within 24 months a Class A Wastewater Operator License. Certified or eligible to be certified as a Class B Water Supply System Operator or the ability to obtain within 24 months a Class B Water Operator License. Type IV Bio-Solids License. Good communication skills and ability to work with the general public. Must be dependable, team-oriented, comfortable and willing to work with and assist other City departments and staff. Preference may be given to an individual who has graduated from a techni- cal college or has substantial experience in the operation of water and/or wastewater collection systems. The position is subject to federal regulations for CDL drug and alcohol testing and is subject to pre-employment testing.
