HELP WANTED Water/Wastewater Department Full-Time Position Water/Wastewater Operator-This position will be responsible for performing operation, inspection, maintenance, testing, monitoring and verifying compliance of the Water and Wastewater treatment and collection/ distribution systems. The salary range for the position is $17.92-$23.11 per hour plus benefits, including health insurance and retirement. Starting salary depends on years of experience. Minimum qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Class B or higher Minnesota commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one within three months of employment. Candidate must be able to obtain a Water Operator or Wastewater Opera- tor Certification license. Preference will be given to an individual who has a Water or Wastewater Operator license. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Good communication skills and ability to work with the general public. Must be dependable, team-oriented and willing to work with and assist other City departments and staff. Preference may be given to an individual who has graduated from a technical college or has experience in the operation of water and/or wastewater col- lection or treatment systems. This position is subject to federal regulations for CDL drug and alcohol testing and is subject to pre-employment testing.
