First Security Bank-Storden Summer Internship 2020 Hi, my name is Wyatt Minion and I grew up in Windom, MN. I will be going into my third year at Dakota State University in Madison, SD and am majoring in Business Finance while also playing football. This opportunity was perfect for me because I was able to get a taste of a career I am very interested in. I learned of this opportunity via an online ad. I emailed Mike about the position and we went from there. I was hired as a summer intern in late May and started on May 29th. Fat n I had very little knowledge regarding the banking industry before I started working at First Security. Having only 10 weeks before going back to school, I tried to soak up as much as I could. I helped customers make transactions, managed accounts, organized loan files and more. I learned something new almost everyday and I had a great time doing it! Not only was the job fun, the people l interacted with throughout the entire charter were awesome. This internship has given me such a great experience and I cannot think of a better way to spend my summer. I owe a huge thank you to my co-workers and Mike for giving me this opportunity and helping make it so enjoyable!
