Watonwan County Human Services St. James, MN, has two (2) full-time openings (40hrs/wk) for a Public Health Nurse (PHN) OR Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Come join the Public Health team at WCHS! You will be a part of skilled, caring & knowledgeable professionals whose talents & contributions promote, strengthen & protect the health of individuals, families & communities in Watonwan County every single day! Position No. 1, Family Planning Coordinator: Under direct supervision, this position will provide screening, counseling, & education for eligible participants. Provides general nursing services including immunizations and back up for other Public Health Programs. Position No. 2, Immunization & Infectious Disease Coordinator: Under direct supervision, this position will provide screening, counseling, & education for eligible participants. Provides general nursing services including immunizations, tuberculosis case management, & backup for other Public Health Programs. Minimum Qualifications include: Public Health Nurse: Certification, or the ability to become certified, as a Public Health Nurse in Minnesota and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. OR Registered Nurse: Candidates who apply must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. OR Licensed Practical Nurse: Candidates who apply must have current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Minnesota. Excellent benefits package including: 100% paid Single Medical Health Plan, Supplemental Insurances, Health Savings Account (HSA) or Voluntary Employees Beneficiary Association Plan (VEBA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 16 days first year vacation, 13 days per year sick leave, 10.5 days per year paid holidays, Public Employees Retirement Coordinated Plan (PERA) with a generous employer matching program.
