Kids Kafe BUTTERFIELD SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM Food will be available for pick up at the school kitchen door Monday-Friday from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Starting June 7th - August 25th No meals on July 2nd or 5th. FREE TO ALL KIDS UP TO AGE 18! In Watonwan County, St. James, Butterfield-Odin and Madelia school districts will be offering this FREE meal program to ANY youth 18 years of age and under. NO paperwork, NO money-Just show up at the posted times and pick up a free meal. The Summer Food Service Program is a federally funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Minnesota State Department of Education administers the program at the local level. This program was established to provide nutritious meals to children during summer vacation when school lunch is not available. USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer. Additional funding is also provided by Second Harvest Heartland Grant.
