The Watonwan County Land Management Department is charged with overseeing matters of zoning and land use permitting as required in the Watonwan County Zoning Ordinance. This includes feedlot programs, septic system inventory, and compliance and shoreland development and use. Most matters consider, and are directly connected with, surface water quality and soil erosion.
