Mt. Lake Municipal Utilities (MLMU) is Accepting Applications for a Lineperson This position maintains, repairs, and installs overhead and underground electric distribution and transmission systems; works with or on energized conductors of all voltages; responds to electric outages; maintains, repairs and operates diesel generating engines and low pressure steam boilers; ensures that power is supplied to customers without disruption. Diploma in an electric utility/related field is a required minimum qualification or equivalent experience dependent on Electric Superintendent's review. Within 6 months of employment, new hires must possess a minimum Class B Minnesota Commercial Driver's License (CDL); and meet a 15 minute on-call/emergency response time.
