The City of Mountain Lake is applying for a rehab grant! Please join us for an Informational Meeting on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 6th at the Mountain Lake City Hall Council Chambers, 930 Third Avenue 5:30 pm - Single Family Homeowners 6:30 pm - Landlords of Single-Family Rental Properties 7:30 pm - Commercial Property Owners (see target area below) M Single Family Homes 0% Interest Forgivable Loans for up to 100% of the project cost: (up to $25,000) NO monthly payments and principle is forgiven if you stay in your home for ten years. V Single Family Rental Properties 0% Deferred Loans for 70% of rehab: Eligible repairs for SF Homes and SF Rental Properties may include: Accessibility improvements, structural repairs, mechanical repairs, electrical system repairs, windows and doors, elimination of lead-based paint and asbestos, energy improvements, and code violations affecting health & safety. (Priority rehab for homes built prior to 1978 with lead paint issues). M Commercial Properties 0% Deferred Loan for 33% of rehab, 2% loan for 33% of rehab, owner contribution for 34% of rehab: Eligible repairs may include building façade, exterior renovations, structural, mechanical, electrical system, windows, doors, accessibility modification, awnings, and energy improvements.
