JACKSON COUNTY Deputy Auditor/Treasurer The Jackson County Auditor/Treasurer' Office is seeking applicants for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Deputy Auditor/Treasurer. The primary responsibilities, under the direction of the County Auditor/Treasurer, are customer service, administrative duties, property tax, payroll, accounts payable, general accounting, election duties, vital statistics and other duties as directed. This position requires a combination of education and related experience beyond high school in accounting, finance, or business administration totaling four years. An associate degree in accounting, finance or business administration is preferred. Strong knowledge of Office programs including Microsoft Excel and Word; and good communication skills, both written and verbal are essential. Please note that all interested applicants will be required to take a basic job skills test to be considered for an interview. Salary range is $19.69-$25.59 per hour, depending on qualifications, and includes a competitive benefits package with health insurance & PERA pension.
