9-1-1 National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week Sun., April 14 through Sat., April 20 Who's your superhero? Some of our favorite superheroes are found right here at the Cottonwood County Law Enforcement Center. The Cottonwood County Sheriff's Department is celebrating the second full week of April (April 14-20) as National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week. This week-long event is a time to celebrate and thank those who dedicate their lives to serving the public. These outstanding men and women respond to emergency calls, dispatch emergency professionals and equipment and literally help save lives.
