RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE ELECTION OF SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS AND CALLING THE SCHOOL DISTRICT SPECIAL ELECTION BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District 836, State of Minnesota as follows: 1. It is necessary for the school district to hold a Special Election for the purpose of electing one (1) school board member to fill the unexpired term (3 yr) for the position filled by an appointed board member January 2023. The following individuals have filed of candidacy for said election during the period established for filing such affidavits: Candidate U; Valerie Ommodt 2. The Special Election is hereby called and directed to be held on Tuesday, the 7th day of November 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Polling Places: PRECINCT #1-Odin City Hall, Odin MN: City of Odin, Odin & Long Lake Townships in Watonwan County; Cedar Township in Martin County.
